About the functions of the kidney

Do you rememeber the functions of the kidney? One of the functions we have studied is a little complex, because it is related to the secretion of hormones, which produce an effect in other organs, like the hormone that activates the production of erytrocytes (red blood cells) or the ones that participate in the regulation of the blood pressure. All of them are produced in the kidneys. Interesting, isn't it?
